Innisfail’s love of hockey was already thriving when local players came together in 1947 to form what would evolve into one of Central Alberta’s most enduring senior hockey teams, the Innisfail Eagles. The team skated under several names in its early years: Innisfail Senior Club, Oilers, and finally, the Eagles. This season we celebrate 80 years of Eagles hockey in Innisfail Alberta and invite you to be a part of Eagles history at every home game!
