One of the fan-favourite holes from last year’s Blades & Birdies tournament is making a comeback this summer, bringing a little hockey attitude to the tournament.
Inspired by the classic hockey-golf movie, golfers will once again have the option to throw on an Eagles hockey jersey and attempt the famous running drive or use an old school wood driver, then they have to make their putt using a hockey stick.
Some teams take it seriously.
Most do not.
That is kind of the point!
The hole was one of the highlights of last year’s tournament, with plenty of laughs, competitive chirping, missed putts, and great photo ops.

The Happy Gilmore Hole is part of what makes Blades & Birdies feel different from your typical golf tournament. Last year’s tournament sold out quickly, and another full field is expected this summer.
